Love me some Charlotte Hooties!

Oh girls! You know I love Chi Omega! I loved being an advisor in STL and I was hoping to be involved in Charlotte in some way possible. I have been corresponding with the Charlotte Alum president over the past couple of months. Last night, we had a cookie exchange at Hawthorne Pizza. I was nervous about going by myself not knowing anyone. I met the most amazing people!We had a speaker from Make- a- Wish attending and then we ate pizza and pasta! I am so fortunate to have 3 Chi Omega chapters in the Charlotte area to be a part of. By attending last nights function, I met women who LOVE XO and wanted to share that love with me...a person whom they have never encountered. I had an older alum introduce herself to me and ask, "Where do you live?" I replied, "Indian Trail," and she squealed with delight. She began introducing me to the other ladies who were advisors for Wingate University and she insisted that I come and be a part of this chapter. The entire Alum chapter was so welcoming and friendly that I was almost in tears during dinner. I felt that I had finally found my home away from home in Charlotte. I immediately called J afterwards and told him of my experience and I just couldn't help but tear up again because I am so happy.
St. Louis was wonderful. The chapter at Washington University was wonderful. However, I never felt the way I did whenever I would walk into those Chapter room doors at ECU. Never. Last night I felt that I met my future Johnna Compton, Jessalynn Womack, Jana Wilson, Katie Hopper and Kerry Tucker. I felt that I was home again.
Tonight J and I attended the advisor dinner at Carrabas. It was so much fun! We met the husbands/significant others of the advisors and the house corp. I found out details on Churches in the area and doctors for our family. I have already had advisors tell me to call if I ever need anything, even if it's watching D for a little while.
Thank you God for showing me Chi Omega. Thank you for bringing these beautiful women into my life!!
I will be the new Esoteric advisor and I am so excited to take this on!! More details to come of my chapter of little Hooties!
